Every month, on the 24th , Passang Gyem from Punakha, an elderly client in her eighties, waits patiently for our visit. As one of our clients since the very beginning, she has become a familiar and cherished face in our journey.
Whenever our vehicle approaches her village , her face lights up with a warm smile. For us, the 24th may be another working day filled with center visits, repayments, and client meetings. For her, it is a day she eagerly looks forward to a day to meet people she has come to know and trust.
Despite her age, Passang Gyem continues to save every month. Her savings may be small, but her consistency and discipline are truly inspiring. She reminds us that saving is not about how much we put aside, but about building a habit for tomorrow.
Her smile reminds us that our work is not only about financeit is about people, trust, and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
