RENEW Microfinance (RMF) collects personal and financial information—including but not limited to identification details, biometric data, and socio-economic profiles—necessary to provide micro-credit, savings, and financial literacy services. We collect data directly from you or through authorised credit information bureaus.
2. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely within our centralised banking systems and protected by industry-standard encryption. RMF maintains strict physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure of client records.
3. Disclosure & Sharing
RMF maintains the confidentiality of client data. However, information may be shared under the following circumstances:
- Regulatory & Legal Compliance: We are obligated to share data with the Royal Monetary Authority (RMA) and the Credit Information Bureau (CIB) as per statutory requirements.
- Law Enforcement: Personal information may be disclosed to law enforcement agencies or judicial authorities only through official, rightful channels and upon receipt of a valid legal order or warrant. RMF strictly prohibits the sharing of client data for private or unofficial purposes.
- Service Providers: We may share limited data with authorised third-party stakeholders (such as insurance providers or IT auditors) who are contractually bound to maintain the same level of confidentiality as RMF.

By availing of our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described. You reserve the right to access or update your information through your nearest RMF branch.
