To become a leading provider of financial services to low income women and their families in the kingdom of Bhutan.
Improving the quality of life and the status of vulnerable women and their families, mainly in rural areas by providing credit products, member’s contribution. Insurance and other services would be introduced in the near future, thus creating favorable opportunities for the clients to participate in social-economic activities, thereby improving their income and enhancing their role in the society.

The business objective of RENEW MFI is to ensure long lasting access to finance for the benefit of the target groups and giving support to the core business of RENEW and:
1. To achieve a long-term sustainable solution for providing financial services to needy people the remote areas.
2. Educate rural people on financial products and services.
3. Impart knowledge on income management of the household with their incomes.
4. Provide continue access to financial services by organizing and empowering women.
RENEW (Respect, Educate, Nurture and Empower Women) founded by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck, in 2004, is a CSOA dedicated to empowerment of women and girls in Bhutan, especially the victims and survivors of domestic and gender based violence. RENEW provides counseling services, the Community Based Support System, legal services and shelter homes services. Additionally RENEW has introduced Microfinance Project in 2012. The project is funded by the Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC), Germany, based on a MOU signed on 8th September 2011 and the project is extended till 31st March, 2019.
The Royal Monetary Authority, the Central Bank of Bhutan has certified RENEW-Microfinance Project to lend the micro loan to public on 21st May 2016. RENEW Microfinance Private Limited has been incorporated as Private Limited Company under the Companies Act of Bhutan, 2016 as on 27 September 2017. The Company now covers ten Dzongkhags with a head office in Thimphu which is covering 95 of 205 gewogs and one of the four thromdes.
